Eng 11 Notes: Dec. 2, 2015

Last test of Macbeth, everyone! I hope it went well. Remember a few important details:

1. Follow paragraph structure. That means a clear topic sentence and conclusion, with 2-3 relevant examples and explanations.
2. Edit edit edit edit edit edit. There is no skill more important at this point, and not editing is holding back your mark. I would guess it's effect is more than 10% of your overall grade.
3. With Shakespeare, use the present tense. If it's the third person, add an "s" to the verb. So: Lady Macbeth walks into the room and sits down.
4. Remember that at any time, students can edit and resubmit these paragraphs.

If you're done early, take a look at the lines you're to read for the performance. We'll use Thursday and Friday to get ready for the project.
