Here are a few things to remember about Shakespeare:
1. It is totally acceptable, or even encouraged, to read the summaries and synopses of what happens. Feel free to watch videos of it as well. We're interested in the ideas and the beauty of the words, and not as much in what happens.
2. Using No Fear Shakespeare is perfectly acceptable; we may even read it aloud from time to time. However, most of the time in class, and every time in writing, use the old text.
3. When referring to specific lines, we use numbers representing the Act, the Scene and the Line. So, Act 2, Scene 5, line 4 looks like 2.5.4.
Your task is simple: make a "Character Tree" of all the major characters in King Lear. It should include:
-Character names /3
-Character descriptions /3
-Lines demonstrating relationships /3
-Visually appealing with colours and figures /6
