Almost done the day! Your goal for today is to find a relevant photograph or piece of art, as well as an editorial covering the topic in the news.
Neither are easy tasks: While searching for a photo, you'll need to be able to credit it appropriately. This means you'll want to use databases or historical websites, rather than Google images.
The editorial can be equally frustrating, as you might not find an editorial on the exact same topic of your ism. However, if you can find one on a related topic, or one on an important historical event related to your ism, then that would work.
Here is a link to examples of how to cite photographs, and here is a link to the easybib online citation generator. Purdue OWL is always a great citation resource, if you're wondering how to cite all remaining resources.
For tomorrow, have the photo and the editorial ready for class. Also, a reminder for those who haven't completed them; I'm missing:
- The literary devices worksheet
- The film worksheet
- The King Lear essay
On top of that, your adaptation will be on Monday.
